I work on rockets and stuff, and love anime. Opinions are my own and do not reflect the views of NASA.

The shooter yesterday also had neo nazi beliefs. They wrote that not enough jews died in the holocaust, and they idolized the Columbine shooters

He also claims that Mars will only need 4-6 launches total. Which is absolutely asinine and not supported by physics. HLS Starship needs 17 launches just to land on the moon... the fact that he publishes this garbage to try to get investors for spacex feels like fraud

Pretty sure it's investor bait, trying to trick people to give Elon more money for this dead end program

NASA HQ's "bold vision for American leadership in space" everyone. Even ISS will have to be ended early if the people who maintain it are fired. Janet and the President's plans would end US human spaceflight completely.

The bots usually follow a pattern. AI generated profile pictures, often the same photo of Trump in their banner (that or another AI picture), a profile description claiming to be a 'disabled vet, father, and Christian' or some shit, and the most insanely fascist takes imaginable.

So many people I know have been stocking up on cheap shelf stable foods because they're smart enough to see that the shit DOGE did will fuck this country over much worse than how they targeted NASA 🙃

"Lose" is appropriate because Elon's garbage company lacks the talent to win the space race with China. Giving everything to him is still a loss.

But yes, it's very obvious this budget request is designed to cancel contracts from his competitors and give him money for shit he can't deliver

The text on here heavily sounds like the budget people were in bed with Elon. It can't be a coincidence that they wrote that shit, with Elon announcing a near term starship Mars test yesterday. NASA is compromised.

I found the Africa picture
May 28, 2025 at 8:13 AM
It probably made a light show somewhere hah. But I haven't seen any pictures of it. It was still intact when it went over Africa (there's a picture of that floating around). Probably blew up over open ocean.

That's not what happened. It had a major fuel leak that caused it to lose control. Did not even get to do the missing tile experiment because it reentered out of control and facing the wrong direction, which made it blow up.

Nazism is when being a fascist chud who brigades people when they give valid criticism. You're also behaving like a petulant fascist.

That dude is a huge troll who has antagonized NASA for years. He only supports CLPS because it is a program that takes engineering decision making and power away from NASA, and puts it in the hands of private companies.
May 14, 2025 at 1:39 AM
There's a reason NASA in the past has spent a lot of money to guarantee results. Payloads cost more than the delivery vehicle. If the vehicles fails from cheap half ass design, it's just a waste of time and money. Aliexpress space program.

One of them shit the bed twice in a row. It's not going well.
May 12, 2025 at 8:41 PM
The anti NASA privatization crowd like to count the ones that tipped over as success, but they failed much earlier than planned and were not able to complete science objectives because of it.
May 12, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Yes it's a high risk program, and it has been failing hard at delivering. Which is why I'm criticizing it and saying NASA was stupid to create it. It's a total blunder.

NASA had lots of involvement in Apollo and Surveyor, also. More so than CLPS.
May 12, 2025 at 8:36 PM
NASA isn't the one designing and launching things through CLPS. It's a very hands off program. And the program has been a massive failure because of that fact. But you folks want all NASA programs to use the same model, and to take away NASA's work. It's clown shit.
