The text on here heavily sounds like the budget people were in bed with Elon. It can't be a coincidence that they wrote that shit, with Elon announcing a near term starship Mars test yesterday. NASA is compromised.

The new NASA FY2026 budget request is abysmally bad. Gutting Artemis, huge cut to ISS, huge cut to science, huge cut to the NASA workforce and many other things. It's embarrassing that NASA published this graphic with it, so I fixed it.

These firings are actually illegal. HR is being forced at gun point to lie and claim that employees had bad performance even when they didn't. Because bad performance and bad conduct are the only legal ways to fire a probationary employee.

They're just blatantly ignoring the law. This has been happening at every agency and it will be the case at NASA too.

Probationary employees legally cannot be fired unless it is for misconduct or poor performance. The news reported that fired government employees are being called poor performers even if they had all positive performance reviews. Managers were forced to lie. Very illegal.

Here's a follow up from one of my Japanese friends. He wrote me this after a manager (in a community we are part of) got irritated because I used the word "illegal" to describe what Elon is doing to the government (I work for the gov and can confirm it's very illegal). Doesn't paint a good picture

This is just straight up nazi shit. The existence of the first black fighter pilot unit isn't "DEI". It's American history. Especially because the unit proved themselves well in battle. It seems like there's lots of racist managers over stepping the bounds of the already racist order.

They implanted an elon employee at OPM which oversees all federal employees. She sent out a memo to all agencies saying this. The memo also affirms that they're allowed to fire employees in probationary period (IE new employees). This is vile

They want to fire all government employees (including NASA employees) who have worked at the agency for 2 years or less, prevent hiring of new employee, and prevent hiring of contractors to fill roles.
