Getting transphobia out of Your Party appears to be like playing whack-a-mole at this point.

Fitting as the whole thing seems to be about as serious as a fun fair.

Two things from this exchange between Phillipson and her Shadow equivalent from today.

1) Worrying that Coutinho doesn’t know what month the SC ruling was. The transphobia is, of course, unsurprising.

2) We are still fucked looking at Phillipson’s comments. No RIA but a quicker minimum assessment.

Weird that despite how powerful the supposed trans lobby is that even our ‘good news’ is tinged with Phillipson advocating for our segregation because we are a threat.

The level of contradiction here between insisting on ‘single-sex’ spaces and not discriminating against trans folk is amazing.

Seems @mariecgoldman.bsky.social has deleted this ‘ill conceived’ post from last week.

Kept a slightly longer (and MAYBE marginally less shit) version on her Facebook though. Wonder why? Maybe because she’s another Tory in yellow who can’t take criticism and she is getting less of it over there…

Best B&M impulse purchase I’ve ever made.

I’m not one to be like “all change is bad” but this is a bad change. White W on a blue tile = Microsoft Word. Whatever this is = 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is what you get when a supposedly progressive government tries to placate the Right.

They aren’t satisfied, they just demand more and more until the policy/actions of the government and the darkest, previously hidden, wishes of the most hateful become indistinguishable.

Red means good for things like this right, Wes? That’s what you mean by better place, not much much worse than ten years ago.

Don’t believe your eyes just trust that we have good vibes despite, you know, everything that has happened over the last year and a bit to the trans community.

“Inclusive, diverse Britain”… but not trans people, fuck those trans people until they all lock themselves in their homes, move abroad or die.

Alison McGovern trying to call for inclusivity & diversity when she has been fucking silent on trans lives being turned upside down over the last 5 months..

I don’t think it will move the government or the EHRC but the TUC Congress just unanimously passed a trans positive motion. There were speakers from various unions who were trans/non-binary and even those who weren’t were passionate in our support.

My letter to my MP now the EHRC Code of Practice has been submitted for ministerial approval. I did write to him previously about the EHRC using AI hence my reference to another letter. Did you use some of the template (link below) but I’m not good at brevity so ended up with an 1,800 word combo.

Step 1 - Someone aligned with Your Party is shown to be a transphobe

Step 2 - Put out some pretty words about supporting trans rights with no concrete measures or actions about how this will be done on a party level

Step 3 - Repeat Steps 1 and 2

Step 4 - ????

Step 5 - Prepare for government!

Got caught in a flash thunder storm today helping my mum walk a dog. Got soaked through, so my hair is a mess but after taking my wet jumper off I looked like I was about to take on a T-[insert random sequence of letters and/or numbers here] in one of the umpteen Terminator sequels without Arnold.

The link seems to be working fine for most people. Maybe a VPN issue or something for you? Here’s a screenshot, feel free to find it yourself:

Got a response to my FOI to the EHRC about their use of AI to filter out responses to their consultation. Mostly waffle, but the one thing that is important is point 5 to answer 2.

Given their framing of the consultation, they’ll say a lot of pro-trans responses are unrelated to the question.

The article even got glowing reviews on Mums.. sorry TERFsnet

My last hope for Your Party goes up in smoke as Zarah Sultana ‘welcomes’ Mark Serwotka.

His wife founded a Woman’s Place UK, a TERF group constantly trying to rollback trans people’s freedoms and he even wrote this lovely piece calling for ‘respectful discussion’ about our rights: archive.ph/iPb0L

The new Executive Director of Communications at Number 10 has been appointed by Starmer, and it is Tim Allan who was a trustee for Sex Matters until today.

Labour are embedding transphobia into every facet of their operations and British political life in general.

They did via email to people who signed up a month ago.

Whether you consider an email as an announcement or not is up to you, but it seems clear the intention from early on was he would be involved in shaping the conference (where whether our rights are worth fighting for will be voted on).
