I got tenure! This third career has had a lot of twists and turns and I'm so grateful for all the support along the way, in Vancouver, KW, Bogotá, Toronto, Tampere, and now Kent - and of course from those in other places far and wide. I appreciate all of the care and connection!

I dearly wish I taught a Geographies of peace(s) course and could teach this. It would also be great for political or social geography classes and peace studies classes more generally. 👇

Proud to be along such fantastic colleagues in this table of contents. If geographies of peace is a new area to you the first three chapters are a fantastic overview. If you pick just one make it Mamadouh.👇

Somehow just this one branch of our hydrangea managed to resist the pressure of recent storms. Resonates with how I feel after the pressure of preparing my tenure file, which I submitted on Friday.
