I got the post-con flu (this is my fault for not getting my flu jab when due for the first time in 6 years) and I'm still recovering, but World Fantasy Con was such a great time.

Today I submitted my first (actually finished) short story to a competition. It's not the best thing I've ever written, but it's my first complete original piece, so I'm proud of it regardless.

Last Sunday I injured my shoulder at work and now I am missing work because I literally cannot do my job if I can't use my arm (and it really hurts) and my brain is catastrophizing really bad.

I cooked not one, but two Korean banchan today. Potato salad and gamja jorim. Neither of which was very difficult or took a long time. Next time it'll be sigeumchi namul and dubu jorim.
