Listen, I only kinda know about Handsome Boy Modeling School, but I just learned that White People has a song that features The RZA, The Mars Volta, and Tim Meadows.

Perfect movie.
Sets for Batman Returns were kept very cold for the comfort of the real-life penguins involved. This meant that cast/crew repeatedly got sick during filming. The real-life penguins though would often fall in love with their animatronic counterparts or feel so settled that they began mating.

Watching Task: something about the vibe in the establishing montage makes me wonder if it takes place in Pennsylvania....

...Mark Ruffalo's first lines mention scrapple and water ice.

Betteridge's Law is fun because it cuts down the hopeful articles, too!
“Methane emissions across the supply chain are a key indicator of poor environmental and operational practices in the fossil fuel industry. Reducing [them] in the energy sector is the most effective and rapid way to cut greenhouse gases in the short term.”

Can methane cuts pull us back from the brink of climate breakdown?
With temperatures breaching the Paris limit, experts say tackling the powerful gas could buy crucial time as the clean-energy shift stalls

The thing i like the most about this image is how dull and overcast the Oregon photo is
The @accuweather.com acct hasn't posted here on Bluesky in two months but they did put this map together on their other socials, showing verified shots of the 11/11 aurora in all 50 states. Solar Cycle 25 has defied expectations and has been giving us a show for a year and a half.

This almost makes me regret not getting a class ring. Like I could've had one that says JAZZ BAND and VIDEO GAMES??
I got a class ring for some reason and you got to pick out what design you wanted on both of the sides. Most people got their sports or whatever put on there. I didn’t have sports, so one side said CHOIR and the other said COMPUTERS.
I sold some old books a week or so back and today I got this message.

I told her yeah, she can go. The people in the house will yell at her but it’s just a test.

I hate to get into Xmas music discourse in early-to-mid November, but this analogy tracks perfectly with my insistence that the first 20 seconds of Wonderful Christmas Time go hard.
"simply having a wonderful christmas time" is the audio version of running out of room for the letters on your sign
