I loved this show. It had 1 of my favorite quotes: "Down girl. He's an android, not even programmed for sex. Not yet anyway." It just made no sense. Why would youske am android look like that and not program them for sex?

Easy, they essentially made my spirit animal as an FF character. A character whose whole vibe is cooking and love of company and just loving to explore.

Oh! In that case, a definite is Forgotton Anne. Beautiful, game. It has some platforming, but it is much more a story & light puzzle title. And it's only like 6 hours.

Your wife has fantastic taste. It's an incredible game, I've literally never met anyone who openly disliked it. I'm not sure it's possible. Plus, it has the single greatest character in the history of FF:

Fair, I personally recommend any of the trilogies. They're all pretty fun.
I know they're more of a commitment, but the only less than 15 hour JRPG I'm familiar with is Cat Quest. So I guess that's my recommendation?

One of the best design concepts I love is dragons who look absolutely nothing like dragons, like in LoD or BoF4. You get these eldritch abominations that look nothing like dragons, and their so awesome! Does anyone know of a game with a similar design philosophy?
