This game, in my opinion, is the utter epitome of JRPG design. It is the game I recommend to anyone trying to get into the genre.

One of the best design concepts I love is dragons who look absolutely nothing like dragons, like in LoD or BoF4. You get these eldritch abominations that look nothing like dragons, and their so awesome! Does anyone know of a game with a similar design philosophy?

What is a semi obscure franchise you have an unhealthy fascination with? I'll go 1st. For me, it's the Dark Crystal. I love it to the point that I own the TTRPG, the manga series, and the novelization of the film.
