This is incidentally GREAT ttrpg advice.
If a char is having Their Moment and you feel your char doesn’t have anything to do, invest them in the other chars journeys for a while! Your moment will come too; if you check out during a game bc you’re not in the spotlight, it brings down the whole table

You have to care about your scene partner. You don’t have to LOVE other characters. You do need a reason to interact with the people in your scene.
