Accidental care-taker of a community resource recovery hub (OneCoast.org). Also accidental solo taichi teacher. Always indifferent house-keeper. Community is everything.
That's why you start with the solutions.

My oldest daughter BECAME Frances between the ages of about 3 and four and a half. She called herself Frances, her little sister was Gloria, her friend next door was Albert, and we were Mother and Father. Over 40 years later they still call him Father!

Okay then, Chloe Swarbrick needs to be on some platform at the same time, giving the correct response to each of their silly debate points.

Good people do you love your lives
And have you ears for sense?
Here is a knife like other knives
It cost bu 18 pence.

And down will come the sky
The earth's foundations will depart
And all you folk will die!

Annual change in total tax revenue per capita is very slumpy. Hopefully Govt will work out soon that Govt spending *creates* the $ that people use to pay taxes - Govt just need to make sure that they tax those $ back from the rentiers that hoard it. I'm getting impatient. [Ends]

In fact, one of the biggest increases in bank deposits was the NZ Govt - a cool $5bn in just 3 months. This is Treasury magicing up dollars and adding them to Ministry bank accounts - presumably a sign that Govt is pushing accelerated delivery of capital projects into election year. [5/n]

Here's the % change in the main groups. That drop in people relying on ACC as their primary income source can only be a serious tightening. [2/2]

Wow, thanks, and very useful, will follow up. Pricewise out of our range I think, but we would be looking at a building about half the size.

Thanks, Jason, this is the perfect summary to send to our team who are contemplating what sort of building to pitch for at the moment. Do you have any idea of the cost all up?

A story from a long ago friend who took a pet mouse to the vet to be put down.
"What's the name?"
"Michie."

Talking about this with a pharmacist ex academic today. She said there used to be two family-owned pharmaceutical companies in NZ that were allowed to disappear. The same happened in Australia but they had the sense to bring theirs back to some degree.
