Pride in Place will not fix the deep inequalities communities live with. Real renewal demands that the current Labour government tackles the massive inequalities that exist in wealth and ownership head-on, through policies like Wealth Tax, so the economy delivers prosperity and security for all.

The UK Government should be protecting people from hardship, the cold, and from spiralling bills. That means: warm, affordable homes via a national insulation drive; cheaper, clean British power to cut bills for good; and a social energy tariff with strong protections against debt & disconnection.
