Like Chris’ UK friend, I watched the Twin Dilemma on first airing in Australia, and was so upset by that scene that I haven’t watched it since. At the time, I stopped watching until Sylvester became the Doctor. It was a big deal!

I think the issue is the other kids now not talking to her because of that incident. Dad has a bit more work to do on that front.

My kids arrived at the conclusion that Gandalf mistreats hobbits all on their own. A hobbit’s home should, after all, be his castle, at least until after second breakfast.

The delusion that putting washing in the machine is finishing the job doesn’t help anyone. “I helped, I put a load on” - my dude, there are many steps after the machine does its job; take it out, put it on the line, take it down, put it away… start at the end point if you want to help.

Side note: United frequent flyer program let me choose my title, and there are a LOT of options. Unfortunately, it’s harder to change the title, so after I finished playing and registered, I was stuck with Baroness for quite a while.
