There is a reason I pointed out two groups “uninformed” and “none of the above”.
Anyone who is sufficiently informed understands the importance, and the compromise of some being worse than others.

I am open to which cohorts there are to consider - as best I can think, everyone falls into these categories (e.g. busy & unable to get to the poll insufficently interested in making it hapen)

My assumtion is non voters are either disinterested or non-of-the-above types

…for the emotive misinformation that plays off biases than them spending the time and effort to understand what is actually going on.

The entire populist platform that the likes of reform (but not exclusively them) rely on, is convincing voters to misplace blame for issues, and engage with emotion rather than reason.
Now if people who are disengaged from politics are suddenly forced to vote, it’s far more likely they will fall…

My grandfather, in his late 70s, literally chased (very slowly) a UKIP candidate down the street (Farage was leader at the time) while yelling about "I thought we killed you lot last time!"

I saw a point from Khan that he hoped he could finally be known as the London Mayor instead of the Muslim Mayor. I only know him as the former, but I imagine every time he hears the latter it’s loud.
