Only bonus for David having an antibiotic-resistant infection is he gets a private room at the hospital.
Seriously though, we’re done with this crap. Hope they’re able to kick the infection this time. He was there last month for 5 days and he’s been fighting this for almost 6 months now

Today’s visit to mom went well. She had happy tears when we got there. Wasn’t obstinate or angry at any point during the visit. Was coherent for most of her words.

It’s been almost two months since I visited my mom. Between illness at the place she’s at plus the month of “fun” here, I just didn’t get there.
The guilt is strong.
Going there today and taking her favorite pizza in the whole world - Aurelio’s (of Chicago area). She’ll love it.

Still going through stuff at mom’s house. So glad we didn’t have the hard deadline that we thought we did.
80 years of stuff is a lot of stuff to go through.
It’s tiring and mentally taxing.
I have 2 closets left, pack up clothes to donate and pack up kitchen. Then stuff goes off for donating
