In recent years it’s helped to reframe how important a day not being creative is in the process of creating something. Looking at a piece or a project with relatively fresh eyes helps you identify parts that bothered you before, and enthusiasm comes back in easily as a result. Take the time off!
I'm just realising that it's okay to not draw and create every day and that "unproductive" days are completely normal and needed in order to preserve the joy of making art. I always feel bad when I take a day off but it prevents me from burning out myself.

The art market was slow today but received high praise. A visitor wanted to make sure that I knew that they rarely buy art, actually make a point of not buying art, but that this print was too good to pass up. That I basically made this guy brake his own rules by making him a collector.
