Oh - one last thing - You might have to double check your plugin dependencies in Text3D.uplugin (Look for GeometryProcessing and ProceduralMeshComponent)

To fix this, you need to modify all your Font uassets and change the following setting:

Loading Policy = Inline

This will effectively embed the font data into the font asset, which was the culprit - the 3D text wasn't able to lazyload the font data!

If you try to cook a build here, it will most likely succeed but you will notice something interesting:

Your 3D text shows up in editor (PIE), but not in cooked builds!

2 - Recompile your editor with Visual Studio
3 - Reopen the editor and make sure that all your Text3D component & Text 3D actor blueprints compile properly.

You might have lost some data here - 5.6 migration might reset variables to their default values.

To fix this:
1 - Install UE5.5 and copy the entire Text3D plugin folder into your own project's plugin folder

The 5.6 version of Text3D plugin crashes the editor. Seems like all users are experiencing this.
