I just moved my audible library away from amazon! I whole heartedly recommend libation: getlibation.com It gets the job of downloading and de-drming done easily. I tend to use my phone (android) for audiobooks, and I installed voice to listen to them play.google.com/store/apps/d...

trains are such a great example of how the future is here, if we want it and are willing to subsidize it
It’s over 1,000km from Berlin to Paris

There’s now a direct daytime train between them, that takes 8 hours and costs just €59. Leave at 10am, arrive 6pm.

And… it’s just 1% the carbon emissions of the equivalent flight

Had a fantastic time this morning talking with folks across the country on CBC Radio morning shows about how changing climate is impacting how we experience winters in Canada.

All of the discussion stemming from a great report from Climate Central. www.climatecentral.org/report/lost-...
Lost Winter: Above-freezing days added by climate change | Climate Central
Across the Northern Hemisphere, climate change is causing a significant increase in winter days with minimum temperatures above freezing, otherwise called lost winter days.
