We have recently finished reading Dogman and Catkid, plus Donut Squad World with my 4 year old daughter. She loved Dogman, and found the Donuts very funny. Me and husband enjoyed putting on voices for every character.
Delighted to see her enjoy a good graphic novel.

Both it and the previous one about Odin do make me wonder that the cover designer clearly didnt get to read the intro or foreword...

As Odin would never wear a horned helmet...

Loki would never wield an axe let alone wear fur...

At least based on other modern depictions/retellings.

Ah that's a pleasant discovery! Recently got this myself and the cover design has certainly given me an itch to pull together @profcarolyne.bsky.social @joannechocolat.bsky.social and @louiestowell.bsky.social to discuss WHY Loki is only accepted if he is the physical opposite of the above.
