I was messing around with making a new OC and looked through old drawings and went “nah, this isn’t what I imagined” and then proceeds to pull out a pencil and redraw them (first drawing in over a year)

Didnt expect 2025 to be the year that people I looked up to show how truly 'mortal' they are. Things some people could take away from it is ' do not take things for granted'
But what I take away from it all is 'Own up to your mistakes, and grow from them.'

I’ve never thought that I deserve a social presence online. But I do have hilarious banger tweet ideas written in a note folder that made me chuckle. Still, find it interesting that I feel safe enough to post stuff here

I never use social media, but found myself glued to it the last two months due to my oshi and introduction to vtubing got witch-hunted. Sadly, it was out of pain and disbelief. Still funny to look back and realize that I’ve posted more here than I’ve ever done on any account (even if nobody sees it)

It’s crazy how roughly every four to six months I decide to throw myself in the pool, and remember that I don’t know how to swim, and the water is full of sludge, and my eyes keep stinging from trying to see, and I forgot that I have lead shoes, and that humans aren’t meant to swim in sludge.

Don’t be like me and leave #86 on the back burner if you need an itch for a good drama, even if war/mech isn’t your thing.
The connection to the characters is normally what ties the knot. But the way 86 portrayed grief, is what did me in. The feeling of loss, and loneliness along with guilt, trauma wrapped together with the bow of feeling like your efforts will lead to nothing just spoke to me.

I know ‘Lost My Pieces’ from Toradora is one of the first on this list. Show is nowhere near a masterpiece, but the place it holds in my heart is enough for it to be a great show in my mind. It’s humbling to know even after completing well over 200 anime, there are still some out there that do me in
I find that it’s a basis for my own personal ranking. Very few pieces of media, let alone anime, have left me in tears. I can count them on two hands. But boy jeez, I know I will have a new trigger to ball my eyes out
