I think there's room to explore one of the congenital/genetic health conditions that lead to assigning male/female in the delivery room. Not going to lie, I don't know much about the science but I trust Yoshi P to consult with people who do, and to guide the story in a respectful spirit.

Plays are definitely considered literature, it might be called a "text" in scholarly circles, but they are literature, don't let anyone tell you only books and poems are literature. :)

In my graduate degree programs, we referred to pretty much all written works as a "text" which I think helps remove the snobbery possibly implied by calling some things "literature" but not other things. For example, TV and film scripts, video game scripts, poems, even greeting cards.

I was "sotwitty" when social media first emerged...adopted "icywiz" to separate the KingsIsle community from my swearing...15 years later I'm the biggest has-been in the KI community so no reason not to merge it back to sotwitty.
