Haven’t posted any in a while but still continuing my “learning to draw skulls” project—I decided to draw 100 of them until I know the proportions in my sleep & though #28 still ain’t much it’s still getting easier. All that muttering “halves & thirds, halves & thirds” to myself might pay off.

Skull #7: A “pop quiz” after a couple of days away, not focusing on drawing quality but purely how well I have facial proportions down from memory. Cranium definitely should be bigger but I give it a 65/100—zygomatic arches are tricky.

Like a good friend @prairiehamster.bsky.social gets mad when I call these my shitty skulls, so here’s novice skull #5 & since the tutorial looked fun, a demon skull. That zygomatic-arch-to-jawbone part is definitely the trickiest, gonna keep drawing these until I know the proportions in my sleep.
