Finished the tiny thing of cretons we bought Friday evening. *Sad face*

It's a French-Canadian spread made from ground pork, rendered fat, milk, onions, breadcrumbs, salt and spices, usually black pepper, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Usually eaten on toast or crusty bread.

because whoever packed that box had the so-called brilliant idea to pack the largest serving platter between two of the smaller ones. The smaller ones broke in storage as a result. The leftover platter and a serving bowl sitting decoratively on it.

Soup/salad bowls from Royal Winton Grimwades, from the 1930s that belonged to my father's mother. I'm not done unpacking the whole thing, but already, a dessert plate got cracked because it was wedged vertically between other dishes and the side of the box, and two serving platters broke

Appointment taken for a full physical for Freyja, including psittacosis and psittacine beak and feather disease tests since we're looking into kenneling her when we go camping this summer.

My wife was out of her office and our conure, whose daytime cage is also in the office, was repeatedly calling "MAMA!!!" at the top of her voice.
