I’ve been making a habit of having my mini sketchbook with me all the time. So when I’m idly waiting somewhere
(Apts. bus stop, etc) I’ll take it out and do some sketching. Been a nice way to stay present but also get a little practice in!

I feel so sad for this screencapped artist for a number of reasons, but I’m also sad for the state of arts education in general that so many *artists* seem to believe that the primary purpose of art is to be impressive. It’s not! You do art to learn it and learn yourself as an artist!
