@philippab.bsky.social Last night someone replied to a comment I made on YouTube two years ago and I was a bit surprised to see this right under my comment. Pretty sure I didn't notice it at the time. Perhaps some algorithmic nonsense is displaying it there because they somehow know we're connected.

I literally owe my existence to the WPA. My Missouri-raised grandfather met my North Dakota-raised grandmother when he was working the wheat harvest with a WPA crew. It was love at first sight & he sent her money for a bus ticket to Iowa when he got a job with the CB&Q.

What's up with teams who are having their intermission programming be just a couple of dudes acting like they're doing a podcast? It seems like some other team's was like this the other day, too. I hate it & I hope KHN never does this.

Texted the boy about the weather in his part of CA ‘cos the woman from CA in our Cornish class was without power because of storms. He gave me a proud mama moment when he replied. 🥰
Yeah, I think it’s supposed to cool down here and we might get some rain later in the week though. Also don’t know if you were keeping updated on it but Prop 50 passed, I voted yes on it.
