My bestie was in the hospital for almost a week in February 2025 due to complications from Covid. She's younger than me by five years. She's fully vaxxed, and she still ended up inpatient.
The recent slew of 5th anniversary of COVID articles all comfortably putting the threat behind us—and not stating the basic truth that we don’t know what the long term effects of a single infection are, let alone several—certainly do no one any favors.
Pretending COVID doesn’t exist, believing the lie from the government & mainstream media that “COVID is over”, incorrectly using “post-pandemic” language, all play a role in the worsening of the *ongoing* COVID pandemic, not only for immunocompromised people but for EVERYONE
