On his 100th day in office in 2017 Trump headed to a PA wheelbarrow factory to launch his trade policy and put the US on the path to today’s tariffs.
Eight years on that factory is closed. The wheelbarrows are now made in China.

I think Americans need to realize, that once this tariff bullshit is over and we’re back to ‘normal’, the fallout from this mess will not be done. Canada, Mexico, the EU and China will continue to move away from the USA as a trading partner and the country will become sidelined as much as possible.

Why is it Trump thinks Americans are willing and more importantly, able to pay higher prices for their daily living expenses? Walmart didn’t become the world’s largest retailer by offering higher prices.

BTW in the historically-chaotic car market of the last five years prices have only risen by…21%. For many makes & models the Trump tariffs are going to cause a larger price spike than what they saw throughout the entire pandemic supply-chain shortage era.

MAGA’s think Trump is a business genius. The budget for the National Parks Service is $3.6 billion yet Park visitors contributed to $32.0 billion in GDP and generated $55.5 billion in goods and services. So he’s cutting the Parks budget when it would appear an increase may be a better idea!
