Honestly it’s one of the most crazy-making things of our time that we have news cycles (like with the Trump-Epstein thing) where we ostensibly learn nothing substantively new and yet the whole world is suddenly caught on fire.

I just think approval ratings might not always be the best way to frame some issues.

That’s weird all of the employees were here legally and yet he felt the need to call ICE…why? Because he observed that they were brown? Because he’s a deranged racist? Interesting.
According to the car wash owner, agents arrested employees before they could obtain their documentation from their work lockers. So many were likely here legally.

Still very funny to me that I (ex-Catholic and current agnostic) see the church talk about immigration and I’m like “oh yeah this was the awesome stuff” whereas many Catholic conservatives I know are like “damn the pope is a commie”.

The reality is that I think all of this was written from the beginning (including Schumer’s eventual ousting). And the sad part is that we can probably never be sure which Democrats would have voted for this in the absence of eight convenient scapegoats who won’t face reelection in 2026.
