Also yeah both of these movies are INSANELY misogynistic towards Sue like holy shit she literally gets to do nothing other than be sex appeal. I do not blame Jessica Alba for nearly quitting acting altogether

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)
Holy shit, stuff actually happened this time. I actually enjoyed some parts of it even if still heavily flawed. Doom being here does nothing to the plot, Galactus cloud is hilariously bad, Silver Surfer is one of the coolest aurafarmers in Marvel

I feel like with the F4 (copy+paste this for Fant4stic) you can't just make a movie where it's all about the origin. Maybe it's down to how simple it is, but spending so much time on them figuring out their powers instead of actually doing hero shit isn't as engaging as some directors think it is

Fantastic Four (2005)
That sure is a movie. On one hand I can understand the charm this has as a mid-2000's cheesy CBM, but at the same time its clear how so much of this is riding off the coattails of Spider-Man 2002. For a film that's less than 2 hours long this shit feels like it draaags, man

Man. I genuinely mean it when I say this is the modern Superman movie I've been wanting since 2013. Love the cast, especially Mr. Terrific. The writing is probably some of Gunn's best. Dare I say other than a few things that could be elaborated later it's damn near fantastic

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025)
While it may certainly have it's faults, and may be a bit too self-indulgent at times, I honestly was fucking with this movie more than I was during Dead Reckoning. Also works really well as a send-off to this series (at least this cast anyway)

This one may change as I give it more time and after I see Final Reckoning but as a whole, it's pretty good. Nowhere near as good as Fallout granted, but still I like this film even if I do understand the feeling of incomplete with it being a "Part 1"
