Fant4stic (2015)

Literally what is there to be said about this movie that hasn't been said already in the past decade? Quite literally the most insecure superhero movie that has ever existed. Genuinely terrible

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)

Holy shit, stuff actually happened this time. I actually enjoyed some parts of it even if still heavily flawed. Doom being here does nothing to the plot, Galactus cloud is hilariously bad, Silver Surfer is one of the coolest aurafarmers in Marvel

Fantastic Four (2005)

That sure is a movie. On one hand I can understand the charm this has as a mid-2000's cheesy CBM, but at the same time its clear how so much of this is riding off the coattails of Spider-Man 2002. For a film that's less than 2 hours long this shit feels like it draaags, man

Superman (2025)

Man. I genuinely mean it when I say this is the modern Superman movie I've been wanting since 2013. Love the cast, especially Mr. Terrific. The writing is probably some of Gunn's best. Dare I say other than a few things that could be elaborated later it's damn near fantastic

Umamusume: Cinderella Gray - Season 1 Cour 1 (2025)

I'll give more detailed thoughts when we get Cour 2 in a couple months but holy shit this show is amazing. Really feels like the culmination of CyGames Pictures' work with RTTT and BOANE with both the animation and the storytelling

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX (2025)

After letting that finale sit in my mind I've come to the conclusion this show is indeed really good. Could've absolutely benefited from a few more episodes but I enjoyed this alternate UC timeline and the themes of this show in relation to Gundam '79

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025)

While it may certainly have it's faults, and may be a bit too self-indulgent at times, I honestly was fucking with this movie more than I was during Dead Reckoning. Also works really well as a send-off to this series (at least this cast anyway)

Also shoutouts to the Cruciform Key, gotta be one of the coolest macguffins in the whole series lol

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning (2023)

This one may change as I give it more time and after I see Final Reckoning but as a whole, it's pretty good. Nowhere near as good as Fallout granted, but still I like this film even if I do understand the feeling of incomplete with it being a "Part 1"

Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)

Easily the best one up to this point. Takes what worked great in Rouge Nation and amps it up by tenfold. Henry Cavill is phenomenal both as the main antagonist and as a mirror to the type of person Ethan could be. This movie STILL rules, man!

Alright time for the last film I've actually seen and probably the one I'm most excited to rewatch

Mission: Impossible - Rouge Nation (2015)

Really enjoyed this one upon revisit. By now as we've fully entered the McQuarrie era of these films it feels like they've put together the perfect mix of action and comedy that GP established. The chemistry that the main IMF team share is just great

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011)

God this movie is just so good! Love how most of the movie is the team having to work with the limitations of the IMF being disavowed. For his live action directorial debut Brad Bird does a great job here and the Burj Khalifa scene is a sight to behold

Ok time for the trio of films that I'm genuinely the most excited to revisit (I love the run of Ghost Protocol through Fallout so much)

Mission: Impossible III (2006)

Not gonna lie, this one was pretty good. Really the only things I have issues with is a good chunk of plot threads being left open to interpretation (mainly the Rabbit's Foot even though I know it's gonna get brought up later in Final Reckoning)

From the writers behind Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

This is a writing trio that under any other circumstance would prove to be a dumpster fire of a film

Also the music in this film is very good, very Y2K core (even if Metallica will forever pay for fucking over music copyright for the rest of time because of their song)

Mission: Impossible (1996)

This movie is so funny in hindsight cuz it's basically Tom Cruise going "Yeah so here's my cool OC who has to kill the main character of the original series" and in any other context it would crash and burn but somehow here it just works
