Tips: moving from Xitter to Bsky Before you start following people, fill out your profile! Bio, PFP, banner, and post at least 5 to 10 things. Just reuse your top 10 banger tweets—recycling is encouraged! This way, people will know you aren’t a bot, will see what you are about, and might follow back. Turn off NSFW filters in Settings > Moderation > Enable Adult Contentand at the bottom on Settings > Moderation > Bluesky Mod Service Find your friends from the hellsite using Sky-Follower-Bridge.devNot perfect, but it will find the majority of the people you were following.Beware of fake tools that ask for money! Follow a few feeds related to your interests. In bsky you choose what kind of content you want to see. You can pin feeds (into tabs) to the top of your timeline, and you always have access to the Following feed which shows nothing but who you choose to follow. Block often. Don’t interact with trolls. Don’t quote dunk, comment, nothing. Let them rot in silence, take away their oxygen and they’ll asphixiate. This is the Bsky way. Turn off language filters in Settings > Languages > Content Languages Or you won’t see posts from anyone in Japan, Germany, etc, in your feeds, even if they only post a cool image with no text. Weird, but trust me on this one. Uncheck all to see all posts. Fuck content scrapers. Do not let that trash overwhelm this site, do not share their stolen content. You can block them all with two clicks by going to joabaldwin.com/scrapers and on the top-right clicking on Subscribe > Block Accounts (I know, “Subscribe” is an odd thing to name it, but that’s how block lists work). Use alt text to make images accessible. Helps for translations, readability, findability, and users with slow internet. Turn on Settings > Accessibility > Require alt text before posting It takes time to rebuild, but the best time to do it is right now. Use your last tweets to tell everyone to move, then stop posting. Twitter is a Nazi/AI/bot/crypto cesspit.

Sunlight pooled where the ceiling had fallen in, striking the dark water and sending pale ripples of brightness up the pillars. The temple sounded hollow now: the soft slap of water against stone, the occasional drip from a crack overhead, the faint rasp of scales moving across the floor. They were the only living sounds left. Save for her. At the edge of the water knelt a man who would never move again. His likeness was flawless in stone: chiton rendered in careful folds, head tipped up. One hand hovered, fingers spread, frozen forever reaching for her. The arrow jutting from her ribs swayed with each movement, a narrow axis her whole body pivoted around. She wrapped around him in anguish, tail looping his legs, pressed to cold stone. Coils tightened by instinct, anchoring her. Behind them, other stone figures stood: her assailant’s bow still drawn, arms up hiding a face, hands lifted in a stalled plea; already thin in her memory. What stayed was her turn toward approaching steps, fear bright in her eyes, his features fixing as marble climbed his skin. Him. He adored her first as a rumor. A monster in a forgotten temple, a pair of eyes no one returned from. Yet still he came, at dawn, at dusk, leaving figs and wine and clever little offerings. His voice had followed, days later, from behind columns she could not risk looking around. Warm. Amused. Talking of the city, of petty men and smaller gods, of everything except the horror that lived in this hall. Visit by visit, it was him she began to wait for. His footsteps on the worn path. The pause before he settled on the far side of the wall, close enough that she could answer without turning, that she could almost pretend they sat together. Today, he came too late. Her body moved before the words reached her, before she recognized the shape of his shadow. By the time understanding dawned, his outstretched hand was already turning to stone. Now, she was alone at her end. The Gods were cruel.

Ragged breaths filled the chamber, harsh, uneven, echoing off metal and glass. A low growl answered, wet and guttural, vibrating through the floor like something testing the air between each exhale. Water dripped in slow, rhythmic taps, the only steady sound in a space otherwise ruled by panting, scraping claws, and the thud wood in a steady but frantic rhythm. Unnh...fuck...so big… The projection screen crackled to life. Perfect timing. The static cleared just in time for Gortash’s face to appear, immaculate as ever, framed in that soft blue mechanical glow, only for his expression to halt pre-sentence as he took in the scene: Clandestine. Pinned to a crate. Hair a mess. Legs open. A sahuagin over her. Gortash blinked once. Then his mouth curled. “I did warn you not to come down here… didn’t I?” Her eyes dragged toward the screen in a slow, exhausted roll, lids heavy as if even looking at him required effort she did not currently possess. His gaze dipped, taking in the creature, the crate, the whole disaster they’d made of his reactor chamber. “Got in a bit over your head, did you, dear?” He let the words roll out with a velvet sort of mockery, equal parts entertained and exasperated, like he’d been expecting her to ignore his warning and was almost pleased she’d proven him right. A common occurrence between them. She gasped out, struggling against the creature but finding no leverage. Her hips bucking involuntarily with each thrust, the pleasure-pain overwhelming as she clawed at the trident prongs around her neck. “Try not to die. It would be terribly inconvenient.” His image stuttered, blue light guttering out in a blink; one second he was there, infuriatingly calm, and the next she was staring at a dead, silent screen. Bastard. Her last coherent thought as the Sahuagin growled over her, hoisting one leg up into the air with ease to spread her wide open and began a jackhammer pace into both of her squeezing, slick holes.
