That's it, I'm done with Hollow Knight. (No, don't look at the completion %.)
At least 10 hours of this was Radiance.

I finally got to the last phase of The Radiance. I died on the LAST PLATFORM, ONE HIT away from the kill.

It's a continuing pattern of the BBC refusing to correctly gender trans women, but knowing they can't get away with misgendering either. In the other recent high-profile case they could call the trans woman in question "Dr", but here gave their intention away by avoiding titles entirely.

The version I watched seemed to have been digitally upscaled or restored, so there was some weirdness to the picture in some places, like garbled AI-text in the background. It's a shame there's such poor preservation of so much of this stuff, and that people are so uncaring with their "restoration".

Turns out it's not really musical at all, the Wiki page misled me a bit, so I'll not be covering it on the blog.
I did enjoy the film, though. Bit of a crime mystery set at a burlesque show where dancers are being strangled with their own g-strings.
Hays code means it's not as risque as that sounds.

Also the process to get back to that phase after each death is so fucking annoying, doing Hollow Knight over and over and getting through the early phases is just an endurance test at this point.

Another hour and a half on Radiance. I consistently get to phase 4, but those damn orbs get me in the end. I can tell I'm getting better at it but it's so hard to survive and also deal damage without taking stupid risks.

After a few hours here and there I am now consistently reaching the second-last phase of Radiance, but also getting to the point of wanting to be done with this so I can play something else.
