Serious upcoming problem is that many young people have no real memory of politics pre-Trump, and this insanity is what many of them believe is normal, with no reference point in there lifetime of bipartisan action, people working together across party line, to improve the lives of Americans.
It’s a shame most Americans have no idea what their Republican leaders have squandered. Once they do, it’ll be too late.

The king, stripped of ritual and law, becomes the only reference point left. And without limits, he becomes a caricature of himself. A ruler. A joke. A threat. A meme. A clown with a gun.

I don’t get some of y’all’s obsession with exonerating Trump from his role in the Trump presidency.

It’s been a decade of Trump. The exam has been failed multiple times at this point.
In 1974, Americans passed its intestinal fortitude exam when immense public and congressional pressure forced Nixon out of office. Will we pass the same intestinal fortitude exam with Trump as president?

Do we have the will? 🤷

“You return to your native city, to your native home, and everything is the same—the people, the streets, the walls—but the soul has gone out of it all. Nothing responds to you, nothing touches your heart. You feel like a ghost in a world that is no longer yours.”

I’ve realized that a large portion of Americans do not understand America at all, if you engage in a discussion about Trump 2.0 without mentioning that it is reflective of the wishes of the evangelical Christians and the seven mountains movement you are missing the forest for the trees.

Trumpism coming from right and opening the door to fascism authoritarianism and ethnocentric nationalism as acceptable ideas that need to be debated combined with group determinative manchiean ideology of the left has doomed this country.

Once people’s minds are trained to react instead of think, they become permanently governable.
