vs a Japanese studio making a game and the English translators needing to check everything to translate it
Hence is why other languages (I believe German specifically was what one other person said) had the disconnect message make more sense to kids

I imagine it's just a debug message they never updated to make sense, I've heard on other comments it makes sense in other languages.
It's possible the English text wasn't as reviewed considering it's the primary language of the dev team, thus no need for a thorough translation in English
