Either witty or witless, You be the judge, but I'd rather not know the verdict. I'm an overly old guy who thinks he's going to hike over the steep rocky trails but never gets as far as he'd like. At least my dog has fun.
My new goal is to live my life
in such a way that my obituary
will not get 37,000 <Ha Ha> emojis.

We've actually found someone more purely evil than DT.
Elon Musk’s Stealth War Against the Poor
The world’s richest man is poised to go after the country’s most impoverished citizens under the false pretense of cracking down on fraud.

Just after I wake up in the morning is the worst time now. I feel we're all sitting quietly on death row while our *good* leaders tell us "See, this is how you walk to the gallows, smiling with dignity, because we don't want to be like *THEM*."

Today, we hiked from New York into New Jersey and back in the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge. It was one of the easiest trails I've been on in the northeast, and they had numerous benches to sit on to make it even easier. I'm not complaining. (cont...)

Golden mounds. I'm not certain what the plant is, maybe dodder (_Cuscuta gronovii_)?

Shana makes the best use of my rest stop on a log. I was counting on her to massage me next, but no such luck.

First time I've used hashtags. Not necessary on Facebook, but still trying to deal with character limits. I never used Xitter.

I hope the text below is readable.

Yesterday, I had occasion to type "The current crap crop of kakistocracy..."
I'm glad I didn't have to say it out loud.
I think I've created a world-class tongue twister.

I just now had to block "Call to Activism" on Facebook after my reply on a post got a steady stream of wacko Trump-lovers attacking me, about one every two minutes. It was almost faster than I could block them. I hope I don't have that problem here. Yet.

Hard to believe there was a time in the distant past when nobody had even heard of Blue Sky Social. I believe that ancient halcyon time was referred to as "Sunday."

Shana, Queen of the Hill.

So far, my posts have all been either cross-posting from Facebook or old photos from Facebook, and it's likely to continue that way unless FB becomes intolerable or nonexistent.

I'm thinking of replacing "How have you been?"
with "What have you been reading lately?"
and see how many people are dumbfounded.

When clicking on notifications, the new, unaccessed notifications are light blue, but after clicking on one, the whole list is white. I'm having trouble keeping track of what I've seen already and what I haven't. Maybe I'm missing something here.

Suddenly, I have "invalid handle." I've gone through the steps that are supposed to fix this and it's not going away. I've seen it on many other people's posts, so is there any problem with just ignoring it?

I wish emigrating from the Former United States to a sensible stable nation (without a stable genius) was as easy as emigrating from Xitter to BlueSky.

Admittedly, I never used Xitter, and currently hold dual citizenship with both Facebook and BlueSky.

A bridge in the Poke-a-Nose that lets you decide if you want to fall off the right side, fall off the left side, or fall down the stairs. Obviously, we were here in the fall.
