Mozilla is a non-profit organization. Google is a massive corporation and a public company. I would think the motives here are vastly different between these two.

Because of this, I'm going back to arch. It has been by far the easiest to get things setup. I would love to go back to hyprland but the docs are just too unhelpful. I think my ideal setup for now is arch linux with kde plasma as everything else has major issues.

The linux saga continues... I've been trying to install various debian based distros but they all share a common bug I'm having when I'm trying to configure my monitors. I was hoping the bug was within one of the desktop environments but for me it seems it's based in debian. :(

KDE Plasma through Cachyos has been pretty great! Installing software through pacman and snap has been a very positive experience. I'm going to use this seriously and see how developing in Godot goes but it feels really nice to get further from Windows.

I love the idea of a tiling manager but Hyprland felt way too immature and the documentation was not helpful and refused to explain basic concepts. I'm excited to try it again but I can't use it as my main driver.

Zorin was ok but installing software was not a good experience.
