Despite the elimination of USAID funding earlier this year that resulted in a drastic reduction of our work in Bangladesh, the Solidarity Center continued to pursue legal reforms for workers—to much success!

Most drivers working on digital platforms are considered "independent contractors" instead of employees according to their country's labor laws. Employers often say this gives drivers more freedom, but in reality, it just leaves them without the protections all workers deserve. #TimeToDeliver
