Stupéfaction en apprenant ce matin l'arrestation d' @ekrem-imamoglu.bsky.social, maire d'Istanbul. Cette arrestation est une nouvelle étape de la répression des maires d’opposition conduite par le régime d’Erdogan. Il doit être libéré sans délai.

I teach my IR students that a global power is expected to have stakes and influence worldwide. If absent on a major global issue, this could indicate either a lack of capability or a lack of willingness to act as one. The last part of Trump's tweet could spark an interesting discussion, isn't it?
