I mainly do gaming these days. Bit of fic writing here and there. I will absolutely talk your ear off about FromSoftware games, but will also talk fandom, books, anime/manga, etc.
Gachiakuta and Tougen Anki are both very good, but the Gachiakuta anime got me to start collecting the manga.

I don't mind professional firework displays, but I hate it when it's just random people setting them off at home. My cats are terrified every New Year (& 4 July since I'm sadly in the US). I tend to be in bed before midnight, so I never sleep too well on New Year's Eve.

Data board or whatever. Also, I keep clicking the right stick to stomp on the necromorphs instead of using R2. I'm to used to it being clicking the right stick on a lot of other games.

It killed me twice though before I was able to use stasis on it and kill it. Made it back to the room and opted to stop there before I go looking for that database thing.

No worries! Feel to ask if you've got more questions. I followed you over there too (same username). Everyone just sort of does their own thing over there. Reblogs is how to help stuff get noticed more. It's up to users & their followers to get stuff noticed rather than an algorithm.

For tumblr, just find people you want to follow, like/reblog posts, post your own stuff, & you can send asks & such to interact with people. Posts are always chronological & there is no real algorithm or anything like that. Don't treat it like bsky or twitter, because it's absolutely different.

I've definitely met new people to follow, but part of that is a couple of new fandoms I got into. Pretty much all the people I followed on twitter moved over here and/or to Pillowfort.

It's really that bad now? I left when most people were jumping over here & I wanted to keep track of everyone I follow. I think maybe some didn't come over, but I'm not sure. I know bot accounts have gotten worse, but I wasn't aware just how bad the site itself has become. Not surprising though.

I still have mine, but I haven't logged in in probably about a year as well. I've been holding off on deleting it just in case of artists who are still only there, which isn't many of them now.

I'd gotten nostalgic when I found my original Duncan Butterfly & Duncan Imperial yo-yos in the attic. I guess my parents thought I needed another one, lol.

Merry Christmas! That looks delicious. I'm not doing much today. My sister & her kids are coming later, & we'll do presents then. I did go ahead & get into my stocking where I found one of the most Millennial presents possible: a Duncan yo-yo, lol.

...I forgot AT Jin Dahaad is out now. Never mind on Gog tomorrow. I'm going to go after AT Jin Dahaad instead. I'm going to try it solo, and then bring in the support hunters when/if it's necessary. I can solo 9* Jin Dahaad fine, but I know AT has new attacks.

It's not like I don't have a ton of games I should be playing & finishing. I need to finish Stellar Blade & get into NG+. I need to focus on Sekiro (long shot on that one). I need to finish the Evil West platinum (hit a wall with a boss & haven't touched it in a few months now). Etc

Also, thanks to PlayStation having their Christmas sale on, the Dead Space remake is 85% off. I got a $69.99 game for $10.49. I'm not going to fuss about that at all. I got it installed & when I get sick of Gog tomorrow I think I'll try out Dead Space for a while instead.

I tried to put my build back to what I had it when I went after him the first time just to see if that will fix part of the issue I'm suddenly having with the fight. Like, suddenly I'm failing the dps check in phase 3 & that hasn't been an issue much before. Very odd.

We take everything down after Jan 1. I actually don't like having a tree. We have to isolate it because we have cats. I end up being on high alert for silver tinsel, because our tree looks like it's out of the 1950s or something. Silver tinsel, silver garland, very old ornaments, etc.

a decent pour of vodka (I drink alcohol even less often), because fuck this. It'd be different if she didn't always wait until maybe 2 weeks at most before the 25th to decorate. No, I don't want a tree up before Dec 1, but by mid-Dec there's kind of no point in decorating that late.
