I forgot AT Jin Dahaad has a timed challenge now. I'll give that a try tomorrow. The B rank pendants always seem to look the best to me, so that's usually what I aim for.

Finally started the Dead Space remake. I have to play in short bursts, lol. So far it's not that scary, but I've still jumped some and my swearing has ticked up. I swear I had a bunch of medpaks I picked up, but they're not in my inventory now. Picked up one off the spitting necromorph though.

Did another AT Jin Dahaad hunt & I didn't cart at all. Not even the one free cart we get if we have meal insurance. 29 minutes too. Somehow 9* Gore and 9* Seregios are both absolute nightmares for me still. I also need to fight Gog more. I need more gems from him.

I think the only Christmas I actually enjoyed properly since becoming an adult was back in 2011 when I stayed out in Honolulu when I was in grad school. My parents make it very stressful. My mom wants to decorate, but she waits till the last minute. My dad doesn't like decorating, so that stresses

Gogmazios is a very fun fight. I do wish he'd fly less in the final phase, but it's not terrible. I carted only 3 times (we fail on the 5th cart instead of the 3rd with Gog) & 2 of the 3 were in the final phase. I was on my way back from cart 2 when I landed in the arena exactly when the nuke went

For all the cooking my mother does, she's really not that great consistently. A lot of stuff is perfectly fine. However, she'll decide, at random, to experiment. Her experiments are almost always pretty bad. Tonight she decided she should add butter to the chicken noodle soup she's making.

The Boku no Hero Academia anime is finally completed after so long. I'm trying not to immediately start a rewatch from the very beginning. I love it so much. I stay out of the fandom & don't interact with other fans or anything, because I know it's kind of a crazy fandom. I just like the anime.

Earlier today I had my first successful 9* Jin Dahaad hunt, but I had to bring 3 support hunters with me. Then tonight I went after a 9* Jin Dahaad on my own with just my palico & I only carted twice (only 1 of them counted though thanks to the meal insurance). Didn't take me any longer either.

My mom should know better than to leave boxes out. I have always had the bad habit of peeking at presents ever since I was little. I never outgrew it. I hate surprises. Well, she got me the Bloodborne card game (yay!) & 3 of the Dark Souls board game expansions (Phantoms, Explorers, & Character).

Oh wow. I just did The Reflection elusive target in Hitman. Fucking awesome how they did it. Managed to capture perfectly the difference between Slim Shady and Eminem. Just under 22min. Perfect 5 star Silent Assassin on it too.

Ate lunch with a friend (& former coworker) & then we went shopping together. I was going to do my Christmas shopping on my own after lunch, but she wasn't comfortable driving in the city to do her own shopping, so I offered to drive her. It was a lot of fun.

Ended up sleeping a fair bit of the day. I got basically no sleep last night thanks to coughing the entire night plus being very congested. The meds I took didn't do a thing to help me. I'm hoping what I take tonight will actually work since I'd love to get some actual sleep.

I finally got a Seregios dissenter that I needed for the switch axe. Honestly, worth it. I think it's my new favorite, especially among the dragon element switch axes. I love the bladescale sharpness it gets periodically.

Damn it. A former coworker and friend just invited me out to get lunch with her. I'm so upset that I'm too sick to go. Hopefully we can meet up soon though. Haven't had proper ramen in years.

I'm taking all the meds I can at this point. I hate being sick. I've coughed so much that I've made the muscles along my ribs sore. Drank Theraflu and I'm going to take more stuff in a bit. I just want to be able to sleep tonight.

Barely slept again thanks to not being to breathe properly & coughing. I woke up at 5 & then just tried to doze a while until I gave up a bit after 6. Got the grocery shopping done, but I feel pretty bad again. I've hurt muscles from coughing so much. I hate being sick.

That was interesting. I touched my keyboard as I stood up & I had a little static electricity spark from the aluminum board. It made the LEDs go all weird on the keyboard. It didn't last long before they went back to normal. I've never seen that before.

On the plus side, I did just get my new keyboard. HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL. I'm already using it & I quite like it. I forgot how much I liked using a proper mechanical keyboard. I got the tactile aqua switches with it, & a set of black PBT pudding keycaps so I can swap from the default ABS caps

I hate being sick. I caught some sort of bug from my sister when she & her kids visited earlier in the week. I was fine Tues, but I had a slight cough starting Wed night. It worsened yesterday & now I've been miserable all day today. I've seriously done nothing all day long. I have no energy.

I'm almost crying. A former coworker I'm still good friends with told me that they all still consider me family and an employee there. The head vet invited me to the Christmas party too. I said that I didn't work there anymore and she said I worked there for most of the year & that I was welcome to

1 of my cats had his annual today. 19.5lbs, so he's a big boy, but he's actually healthy & not too fat for his build. Chatted with the techs too. I got invited to the Thanksgiving meal today, but we're doing ours at home today too (I hate this holiday, btw). I also got invited to the Christmas party
