I literally just closed Sims 2 moments ago, still playing it to this day. Absolutely love the style of Paralives even more so than Sims 3 & 4!

If you want to support development and give constructive feedback, go for it. Otherwise, wait until the game has what you need. I, for one, think just the build mode and the "house" gameplay they've shown will keep me entertained for months - and can't wait to try it and help shape its future!

So make sure you understand what you are getting. Some features you might consider “basic” (eg family trees) may not be there yet and at times it will feel empty - particularly if you come from a bloated TS4 game with over 100 dlc.
