It's mostly due to not investing in R&D. Indian IT contractors (WITCH and the likes) earned and sat on a huge pile of cash when the going was good. Then tarrifs happened and the world looks much more uncertain now. I mean India was famously friendly with Russia even before the invasion for long.

If anything, I had to sit through FCPA and AML regulations for the US when I worked at a bank in India. I did not work in forex or any international facing roles. But we did have to be really careful around these things.

It's frustrating and the sign of times that despite having the rights to the franchise, I can't watch any James Bond movies in Prime without paying for another subscription on top of Amazon Prime.

I have precious memories of childhood with this book. I have never read it, but it's story was narrated to me by my mom as a bedtime story. I'd love to work out some time to read it all relaxed.

I hope they like it, because I want more of this genre. Gen Z feels like there's a lot of differences between the elder Gen Z's and the later ones.

Yeah, I remember logging into twitter as a middle schooler and getting to interact and getting homework help from physics teachers across the world, a kind man who introduced me to Star Wars etc. Nostalgia hitting hard rn.
