Trump wants to skirt the normal confirmation process for his cabinet appointments. Shouldn't that give everyone cause for concern, even MAGA? It's like sneaking your underage friend in the backdoor of the bar. He knows they won't pass the vetting process, for good reason.

It really seems Elon Musk has bought a seat at the table. What was the price? Why is Trump beholden to him in recent weeks? Trump doesn't do hangers on for long. Yet, Elon is always present, and Trump looks miserable to share his spotlight.
