It was also my fourth attempt at this basic composition, and the one I'm most satisfied with! The only thing that really bugs me is Peach's hair, which came out a little too poofy, but I like the rest well enough to overlook it.
My first drawing of Peach & Daisy tied together. Not too bad at a glance, but given a bit of scrutiny one realizes that their legs are *crazy* wrong/long. This was also an early experiment with rendering using gradient maps. Some parts fared better than others- really like Daisy's skin tone and Peach's stockings- bur the hair on both girls really needed another pass. (2015) An aborted attempt to redraw the previous picture; think this one was from 2018 or so. Specifically wanted to fix the legs, but somehow made them so much worse. Taken together with the girls' faces and Peach's nonsensical torso, I decided to shelve this one and try again later. "Later" would end up being 2023. Gave up on wrapping the girls' legs around one another and went for a more conventional straddling-the-lap arrangement, which automatically fixed a lot of the issues with the original composition. Didn"'t quite get Peach's butt right, though, and even though these girls have big heads to begin with, they look REALLY big to me in this one.
