Imagine someone finding an unopened letter to you, 4,000 years from now. A birthday card, a bank statement, an unpaid invoice.

Some unopened letters survive from ancient Mesopotamia. They are clay tablets wrapped in clay envelopes impressed with info about sender and recipient.

Trials abandoned due to the stop-work order on USAID-funded research:

Students gathered in Prague and declared an indefinite strike asking for more democracy.

Today we celebrate this peaceful revolution that changed the course of history forever.

On May 1st 2004, 🇨🇾 🇨🇿 🇪🇪 🇭🇺 🇱🇻 🇱🇹 🇲🇹 🇵🇱 🇸🇰 🇸🇮 joined the EU.  

Since then, we have witnessed growth and prosperity. Real wages have doubled from 2004 to 2023, and poverty levels have halved.

The pace of change in the Union has been remarkable.
