I have been trying to avoid this conclusion, as angry as this all makes me, but it's fucking undeniable at this point that in Esther Ghey's view the real tragedy of Brianna's life is that she was trans at all, which made her a target. Her advocacy smacks of railing against "social contagion".

Its so condescending of you to presume that you or Esther Ghey - who deadnames her own daughter - know better than trans people what they need to be safe.

Had Brianna been one of the many, many trans young ppl who died by suicide, the phone thing *might* make some sense.
