I kept finding hidden presents for my kids years after they left home and started their own families. That's how good I hider I am. Good thing they were gifts and not acorns.

That audiobook was an awful embarrassment. Ten minutes were ten minutes too much. I cannot believe he would ever allow a repeat. The free audio version has cost the author way, way too much.

I recently did the same with an author I'd enjoyed in the past and was horrified. Hadn't paid attention to the narrator when I downloaded it. My initial reaction was acute embarrassment for the voice actor as she was stumbling over syntax and phrasing. Now I feel bad for the author.
