I'm not saying I agree with it, or with posting it online, but I also find it alarming to see how quickly people assume the worst of strangers and their intentions based solely on a very short video. She is with them at Christmas. Many with dementia are disappeared into homes.

I share your uncertainty. There are parts of the world that build whole fake communities, false bus stops, etc for dementia patients. I don't like the use of AI here (or in general), especially since they're "altering" her past, but it seems adjacent to similar things few people have a problem with.

Inception and The Prestige are my favourites from him. Quite enjoyed Oppenheimer, too, but I refuse to sit through Tenet. It's just silly and pretentious.
