Perpetual #GenshinImpact rewrite fic snippet. I have too many projects
Writing for my perpetual Genshin Rewrite fic. Text: His feet took him to a sandy shore, eventually. There, he spotted a tiny being floating in the water, clearly drowning — and he sprinted to the shore, then dug through his backpack for a fishing rod. If he couldn’t protect Lumine, he could protect the civilians of Teyvat, couldn’t he? Exiled prince he may be, he is not one to turn away from aiding people. The girl — or rather, pixie? — coughed her lungs out after Aether performed CPR. Seawater poured from her cracked lips, and she took a long moment to recover. Aether gave her a flask of water after she finished coughing up water, to help with her dehydration. “…Who’re you…?” the pixie asked in her raspy voice, and Aether flinched. - “Outlanders, your journey ends here,” the unknown deity proclaimed, stretching out her left arm. Aether was on the defensive the moment she appeared, yet Lumine — “Who’re you!?” His sister had demanded, stepping forward one pace and clenching her sword’s grip. She always was more aggressive and assertive than him to a fault. “The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles,” the deity cooly responded, “The arrogation of mankind ends now.” - Aether took a step back from the pixie, swallowing with his suddenly dry throat. The wound was still fresh with his loss, and he wasn’t ready to confront that memory. The girl caught on, quickly backpedaling, “Oh, um, Paimon didn’t mean to… ah… it was just a question…” He recovered relatively fast, “My name is Aether, but you can call me by what I am — a traveler.” She nodded, “Paimon is Paimon, Traveler. Thanks for saving Paimon!” He tilted his head slightly. She seems to only talk in the third-person… how peculiar.

My statement on Donald Trump's threat to deport me and his praise for Eric Adams, who the President "helped out" of legal accountability.
The President of the United States just threatened to have me arrested, stripped of my citizenship, put in a detention camp and deported. Not because I have broken any law but because I will refuse to let ICE terrorize our city. His statements don’t just represent an attack on our democracy but an attempt to send a message to every New Yorker who refuses to hide in the shadows: if you speak up, they will come for you. We will not accept this intimidation. That Trump included praise for Eric Adams in his authoritarian threats is unsurprising, but highlights the urgency of bringing an end to this Mayor’s time in City Hall. At the very moment when MAGA Republicans are attempting to destroy the social safety net, kick millions of New Yorkers off of healthcare and enrich their billionaire donors at the expense of working families, it is a scandal that Eric Adams echoes this President’s division, distraction and hate. Voters will resoundingly reject it in November.

My personal experience with transphobia during Pride Month is when I told my parents my new name, and they stared at me then said “You’re a woman. You’re not trans because you already decided that you’re a woman.” It was like they thought I was attention seeking.
