So, this looks like a version of pressured speech. I didn't really do hugs until I had kids. I figure it's a product of my upbringing. Now, I get emotional when either my son or daughter gives me a out of nowhere hug. Like... I cry about it. Carl Sagan, and scientists like him, broke my adherence to an old way of thinking. I love seeing others embracing the rationale he left behind. Scientific thinking isn't a dry, boring thing. It's a way of looking at things that gets you as close to the truth as you can get. And truth matters.
