So, the Republicans in my county are of a very MAGA breed. I figured they'd do the typical mental gymnastics to find a way to agree with these latest budget bill shenanigans. Turns out, they're not even paying attention. They still haven't heard 45 talk about how he can't just cut grocery prices.

So, I've been seeing some celebration of a murder today. I can be a little "eat the rich-y," and I'll admit, I've had a bit of schadenfreude about this. But, make no mistake. This was murder. I hated this guy as much as anyone... But murder REMAINS a crime. Even if I understand the motive.

So, I don't know if this is already a thing, but can we start making it easier to just have a link to click to connect to a list of our representatives?
I'm thinking that I need to become REALLY annoying to the people that are supposed to listen. If that already exists, let's make it MORE common!

So, I work with some folks with disabilities. Most rely on government programs to live and work. They're scared. Donald and his clowns are about to fuck up my friends' lives. I've BEEN pissed about this. But finally seeing them react, in person, has really fucked me up. The aftershocks continue.😞

From what I've seen, here on Bluesky, there are so many people that want what I've wanted from a social media app. It makes me want to cry, we really were THAT suppressed before. Let's not waste this opportunity, let's keep this place. We need this place.

Y'know, I've worked my ass off under Trump AND Biden. I can tell you that my 401k doubled under Biden. I was payin' in under Trump and I LOST money... guess I'm back to workin' till I die.

A lot of us have come here to get away from Leon's app. Make no mistake, the enshitification is coming, even to the non-political areas. We need to stay vigilant and keep the blocks and bans going. Make block lists for those that aren't outright banable. Make it hard for those fuckers.
